2022 Retrospective

Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Oliver Heldens, David Guetta, Kygo, Alok, Don Diablo, and many more brought their magic on the mainstage and did special shows.

Another chapter of the fascinating story of UNTOLD – The World Capital of Night and Magic has taken place in the heart of Transylvania, Romania, between August 4-7. The 2022 edition proved once again that UNTOLD is the place where history is written, memorable experiences are lived, friends come together and reunite, new friendships are born between people from all over the world, happiness and magic are all around - more than 360,000 people attended the festival.

The first UNTOLD took place in 2015, mainly on Cluj Arena, when Cluj-Napoca was appointed the European Youth Capital. There’s never been a more magical land in the history of mankind, such as Transylvania. Secluded for centuries, wrapped in myths and legends, but never fully disclosing itself, cocooning fantastic beings that only the moon might know the name of. A universe dormant for the tribe of men but alive as the wind through the leaves. That only few moons ago decided to reveal itself to the rest of the world, when a mighty wizard, traveling through space and time, opened the Transylvanian gates for the first time, on a summer eve, releasing its magic for four days and nights, to all those traveling the land, from afar.
